Worst. Site. Ever.

Good article in the New York Times today about Sony Qualia, a line of electronics that are striving to be upscale of all upscales. Thanks to Enoch for the pointer to Sony's Qualia site, which could very well be the very worst site of all time. What the hell are they thinking?

Whew! With websites like Qualia, who needs Ipecac?

This has the high-gloss nebulousness of the Infiniti Q45 "haystacks" ad campaign of the early 90s. The ads never showed the car, just a series of contemplative pastoral photographs. It bombed, and the car , despite its high quality, never sold well, even to this day.
