Happy New Year to all

With all that's going on the world, let's hope for a more peaceful and less treacherous world in the new year. I'm happy to have my health and family around me this New Year's Eve and hope that all who read this have a safe and prosperous 2005. If you are reading this, thanks for taking the time to listen to the rantings of humble little me! If you're not reading this...then, well....it doesn't matter much what I say, does it?

Scalpel...Sponge...Nintendo

Apparently, there is such a thing as the "Video Game/Entertainment Industry Technology and Medicine Conference". Kind of rolls off the tongue doesn't it? If you had gone, however, you would have learned how playing Super Monkey Ball can make you a better laparoscopic surgeon, making you 27% faster while making 37% fewer errors. The next time I need surgery, I guess I'll have to ask, "Doc, Nintendo or Playstation?" and if he/she can't beat me at a game of Madden, I'm going to get a second opinion!

Amazon Down?

Wow. It appears as though Amazon.com is down right now, and at the most inopportune time I would think. I wonder how much money they are losing per mintue right now?
