Those Smart Boards Really are....Smart!

Noticed this article in Wired (via boingboing) a few days ago. It's all about this new technology they are using in the classroom that's a cross between a whiteboard and a touch sensitive computer monitor. I can say from experience that this is a very cool thing. My daughter's class has been piloting the use of a smart board in their school all year long, and I have to say that it's enormously useful. The kids love it and it's one of the few computer-related technologies that I've seen that really add to the teaching level in the classroom.

If you are on a school board, or you know someone who is, get off your duff and start ordering these things, pronto!
