So, I'm checking out the new RSS functionality that AOL is beta testing today and what's the first thing I do? I try to add my own feed. It adds quickly and easily, but next to the top entry here's what it says:
1 month, 14 days, 7 hours, 28 minutes ago
Huh? Has it been that long since I last posted? I know I'm not an "every day" kind of blogger, but 1 month, 14 days, 7 hours, 28 minutes ago? That's just sad.
Here's what's up. I'm pretty much adjusted to the new job. It's going very well. Busy, but a good kind of busy. And everyone here is smart. And nice. (I hope they're not just being nice because I'm new.) I'm working on some really fun stuff, all of which I am not at liberty to talk about. Just know that it's cool and I think people will like it.
The Mini convertible is still the most fun I've ever had driving. And it's a good thing, because I spend about 2 and 20 minutes a day in the car on average. If you are getting a Mini go for the iPod adapter. And then find a way to capture streams of your favorite radio shows. Nothing beats it. Over the course of the week, I get to listen to Prarie Home Companion, This American Life, Schickele Mix and a few podcasts. It's made my commute very enjoyable. I do have to try to look into buying a few audio books from the iTunes store. I haven't really tried that yet. I enjoy reading so much, but since I stopped commuting by train, I haven't had a chance to read much of anything (as you can see from the stagnant sidebar about my recent reading to your left). Anyone read heard any good audio books lately? I'm thinking of getting the new Sarah Vowell.
OK, I am officially rambling. Just wanted to get something up there to let folks know I'm still here. I'm going to try to post more often (but I know I've said that before....). Hope all is well with you!
